Murad Adcabi, Algerian Ankara Ambassador, who visited the Tarsus factory of Koluman Automotive Industry AŞ (KOE), which has been transformed into a modern production base with 65 million Euros of Industry 4.0 investments, stated that Koluman’s commercial activities in Algeria are one of the most important examples of economic cooperation between the two countries. he did.
Invitation to KOE to invest in Algeria
Adcabi stated that they evaluated all the opportunities they could to further strengthen, deepen and expand the bilateral cooperation, and stated that the level of development in KOE’s factory is pleasing in terms of Algeria’s commercial prospects. Emphasizing that they take care to ensure that the commercial relations they establish with foreign partners are equal, permanent and advantageous for both countries, Adcabi said, “After seeing KOE’s factory, I am even more optimistic about what we can do together. I believe that we can take our cooperation much further. We can further expand the commercial volume of all product groups that KOE produces. If KOE considers investing in Algeria, it will have the advantage of exporting to hundreds of countries with international trade agreements, duty-free and tax-free. This investment will create high added value for both countries.”
Algeria, which is one of the most important entrance gates of the African market, has high export advantages in terms of free trade agreements with Africa and the Arabian World, and also in terms of the Association agreement with the European Union, in order to turn these advantages into opportunities for the two countries, reducing the logistics costs of Turkish and Algerian companies and making certain stressed that they are trying to limit it to a certain extent.

Stating that their attempts to take place in the Algerian market started in 2018, Koluman Otomotiv Endüstri AŞ General Manager Cengiz Adak stated that they continue to offer the products they produce to the market together with SAPPL-MB, Daimler’s establishment in Algeria.
Noting that they are mainly involved in the Algerian market with products such as road sweepers, salt spreaders, platform cranes, road washing tankers, which are needed by municipalities, Cengiz Adak said, “With the business model we have developed for the last three years, our exports to this country will exceed 7 million Euros. In the upcoming period, we aim to add new products to our market-oriented product portfolio in the short term. We started our first investment in Algeria to provide after-sales support to our products. In the long term, our investments will continue with the end of the pandemic process and the acceptance and standardization of our products in the Algerian market.”
